Sarah Henry is the Hawk Media Adviser. She advises the Hawks Claw online newspaper as well as the Home of the Hawks yearbook. She also teaches WHS’s journalism classes and coaches the UIL academics journalism team.

Always a writer, Henry fell in love with journalism in college where she was the Copy Editor in Chief and staff writer for the SMU Daily Campus. After graduation, she wrote for various community newspapers including the Plano Star Courier, the Lewisville Leader, Park Cities People and the San Angelo Standard-Times.

Henry decided to start teaching in 2009, after she and her husband, Landon, started a family. Before coming to Wall, she taught middle school English and high school journalism and yearbook. Henry has five children, and she loves helping her husband who is the lead pastor at a church in San Angelo.
